Answers
- Q: How much will it cost to package my product?
A:Because there are so many variables to packaging it is almost impossible to guess or approximate a price without all of the necessary information. Please contact us with as much information as possible, such as your product dimensions, what type of packaging you want for your product, how much you have budgeted for this project, is this for a retail application, where is this shipping to (local, national, international, etc.) The more information you have before you call us the faster we can help you find the right type of packaging for your application.
Back to Top - Q: What is the difference between shrink film and stretch film?
A:With so many people calling them by both names, this should help give you a better understanding of which is shrink film, and which is stretch film. The easiest example of shrink film is the clear plastic film that is on a CD or DVD when you buy it. It requires a hot wire or knife to create a seal, and often is run through a heat tunnel to "shrink" it to the size of the product. Stretch film is best recognized as the clear film that is wrapped around pallets of product, like landscape block, boxes, etc., to keep it secure on a pallet. It is applied using a stretch wraping machine or by hand.
Back to Top - Q: Do you take in trades of used equipment?
A:Yes we do for the most part. There are some situations that we do not based on brand, age, and condition. Trades are all handled on a case by case basis, but are encouraged if the trades can be re-sold in the current marketplace.
Back to Top - Q: I am currently hand wrapping my loads. How can I justify purchasing a machine?
A:There is a general rule to this question. If you are wrapping 15 or more loads per day, it is more cost effective to use a machine to reduce manual labor expenses and possible back injury. A machine wrapped load is more secure and machine grade films are less expensive to use than hand wrap films.
